Westside Park
Westside Recreation Center was dedicated to the people of Gainesville in 1972. Surrounded by a beautiful park, racketball courts, tennis and basketball courts, five full size baseball fields and 1.5 miles of shaded trails, Westside Recreation Center hosts children and adult activities throughout the year.
Harn Museum of Art
The Harn Museum of Art is one of the largest university art museums in the southeast U.S. with 86,800 square feet consisting of three temporary exhibition galleries and five galleries for the museum's permanent collections of modern, contemporary, African and Asian art and photography.
Gainesville Downtown Community Plaza
The beautiful Downtown Community Plaza is located at 111 E. University Avenue on the corner of SE 1st Street and E. University Avenue in the heart of Historic Gainesville. It is available for concerts, festivals, church gatherings and more throughout the year; offering a covered stage as well as a picnic and park area.
Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
The lights dim, the curtain rises and a quiet air of excitement settles over the audience at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Each season, University of Florida Performing Arts presents the very best established and emerging national and international artists on the Phillips Center main stage.

Performing Arts Center at P.K. Yonge
The Performing Arts Center at P.K. Yonge was opened in December of 2003 with state-of-the-art equipment. The venue seats 481 plus 4 wheelchair spaces and all areas are wheelchair accessible.

Wild Iris Books
Established in 1992 we are currently the only feminist bookstore still open in the State of Florida. We are very fortunate to have a large community of women and the University of Florida's Center for Women's Studies and Gender Research which provide us with lots of support.
